Berne.- The duo formed by pop singer Lady Gaga and octogenarian performer Tony Bennett won the public''s interest in Switzerland''s Montreux Jazz Festival, local media reported today. Lady Gaga, known by her extravagant looks and Bennet, considered a jazz legend, performed yesterday at the Stravinsky theater and offered an excellent show.
In a single concert the unique duo delighted the fans with the interpretation of hits, such as Smile, Nature Boy and Cheek to Cheek.
An interesting moment was Gaga's version of the famous song La Vie en Rose, immortalized by the French singer Edith Piaf.
With nearly five decades of existence, the Montreux Jazz Festival takes place in Switzerland and includes a wide range of musical styles.
