Havana. - Photographic exhibit Somos, by Cuban filmmaker Roberto Chile, could be admired by the Colombian people after its successful presentation in Havana, Spain, Argentina and the United States.
The snap sample shows the common man through images that reveal stories, features and gestures of the residents of the town of Guanabacoa and other regions of Cuba, marked by the African inheritance.
It is a compilation that has given me many satisfactions, highlighted the artist after announcing he is preparing another series that will be inaugurated on December and that is entitled Raíces, magia y mística sobre el universo que rodea a las religiones y rituales afrocubanos.
Together with Somos, Chile is exhibiting in Cartagena de Indias Fidel es Fidel, a group of pictures of the leader of the Cuban revolution shot in 2005, 2006, 2010 and 2012, which are graphic proof of the statesman’s restless personality.
The presentation of his work in this Colombian city, World Heritage, is one of the initiatives organized for the Cuban-Colombian Cultural Week, which is also extended to neighbor city of Barranquilla.
