Botero Immersed, presented by the Nader Museum, celebrates Fernando Botero’s prolific career and his 90th birthday celebration.   

Fernando Botero was born on April 19, 1932, in Medellín, Antioquia, and this year marks the 90th anniversary of a life dedicated to painting, sculpture, and drawing. The master is one of the most recognized Colombian artists globally and the most successful living artist with an oeuvre spanning over seventy years. 

Botero’s style transcends all barriers, and his work is admired worldwide; they are exhibited in numerous museums, and his sculptures are imposed in squares and public stages in different cities around the world.

The Botero Immersed exhibition is more than just a presentation of the artist: The works exhibited are from the largest and most important collection of the master. Moreover, it is a visual and engaging passage of Botero’s iconic body of work from the 60s to the present day through interactive 360º digital projections, lights, sounds, and music composed by multiple-Grammy-award-winning producer Emilio Estefan.
