The quadrature of the circle: a decade of creativity in Factoría Habana

As insoluble for the mathematicians of ancient Greece as the duplication of the cube or the trisection of the angle, the quadrature of the circle has transcended to this day as a symbol of a perpetual search, as infinite as can be the one that assumes for different paths the art.

In that desire for transcendence, always preceded by a research process that tends to erase dogmas and borders for the sake of creativity, the work carried out by Factoría Habana during the decade since it was created, as part of the cultural institutions of the Office of the Historian of the City.

For this project representative pieces of the work of each one of these authors were selected and, with it, of the creative polyphony existing in the Island, to which the institution gives space for dialogue and complementation.

Until the beginning of March, this proposal will be open to the public that offers a unique opportunity to be able to appreciate exponents of the most valuable of contemporary Cuban art and the well-known proposals of Factoría Habana.
