Esterio Segura’s winged hearts that appeared on Arte por Excelencias 13th issue’s cover are showcased at Terminal 3 of Havana’s Jose Marti International Airport, as part of Havana’s 11th Biennial.
Goodbye my love had its premiere at the Visual Arts Development Center, as a test for inner space in a gallery or museum, and refers to the departure, the eradication, the loss and nostalgia. As an evident and emphatic allusion to the farewell –one of the most universal and common human actions– this stall turns out to be perfect, and is perhaps the beginning of this piece’s journey around several airport in the world.
