Litz Alfonso Ballet offered function dedicated to the Festival Ellas Crean (Women Create)

One of the most successful  of shows of  Litz Alfonso Company, Alas was one of the attractives of the II Festival Ellas Crean,  which took the stage of  the Mella Theater in Havana last Sunday afternoon.

 

 

Choreography First Prize of the Union of Artists and Writers of Cuba in 2006 /Alas/(/ Wings /), has been described by critics as a sharper show in the  dramaturgical essence and choreographic sense.

 


Those attending the downtown theater in Linea Street, Vedado, appreciated the intensity of dancers and musicians, who ratified the essence of the show. A performance which, according to the choreographer and company director, Liszt Alfonso, is a celebration to the human spirituality.

 



"Wings are for flying, to grow, to go far, they are the large wings of Icarus, hoping that these will never melt, but they can reach a safe harbor where love and kindness reign."

 



A show enriched by live music, where instrumentalists Denis Peralta, Yuniel Rascon, Damian Nueva, Yordanis O'Reilly and Juan Pablo Solas give movement and life, including history.

 


This show was dedicated to the Festival Ellas Crean, a space to show the creative development of women and organized by the Cultural Department of the Embassy of Spain.

 

 

The event, held in the Iberian nation since 2005, comes for the second time to Cuba.
