Madrid. - Stage Entertainment, a leading music production company in Spain, has chosen Barcelona for domestic release on October 23rd of the expected musical Sister Act, whose production also involves the Terrat and to which Goldberg Goldberg, star of the hit movie will attend.
With this release, that arrives for teh first time to our country, Stage Entertainment increases its offer to three musicals, since Sister Act joins the beginning of the fourth season of The Lion King in Madrid – the most successful musical in history, that in these four years has already passed the half million spectators and representation in Murcia of the tour Les Miserables, which will visit 23 Spanish cities and which have already seen more than 300,000 people.
The music industry, in which Stage Entertainment is the undisputed leader, is experiencing one of its best moments despite the economic crisis context, reaching viewers and revenue records and becoming one of the sectors that promotes tourism and national economy. Only with the premiere of Sister Act, Stage employs 80 people, that join the 390 employees working on the production now in their musicals.
This excellent news is part of a very special moment for the company, which this year celebrates its 15 years in Spain. 15 years in which Stage has brought great music to our country, with the same quality and standards on Broadway and where it has managed to spread in the Spanish people the love for musicals.
